Impressionism Unveiled
Whether you fancy an afternoon in the flower fields, a bicycle ride through the park, or sailboats dancing across the horizon line, EYMO's scenes always provide a small piece of nostalgia. Welcoming us to explore the outdoors, her artwork is a reminder that nature is the greatest artist.
EMYO's canvases are a testament to her masterful use of color and composition, seamlessly blending the ethereal with the tangible. Her impressionistic style breathes life into landscapes, offering viewers a glimpse into the ever-changing tapestry of the natural world around us. She effortlessly captures the joyous spirit of making memories and enjoying life. Her artwork has an enchanting element of storytelling that allows the viewer to immerse themself into the scene.
Through her impressionistic lens, EMYO elevates these everyday moments into timeless expressions of beauty. She uses the classic impressionistic technique of providing a simple gesture line or impression of a figure. Her silhouettes are mere suggestions of what exists, allowing the viewer to fill in the blanks with their own whimsy. Studying under an impressionistic master in Italy, she found her stride focusing on a method passed down from the impressionist painter John Singer Sargent.
EMYO always had a creative spirit. As a young student, her school books were decorated with her doodles and sketches. She published her first work at the age of 10 with an illustrated cookbook.
Today, EMYO's delightful artwork can be appreciated at an array of galleries and private collections. In between painting, she spends her time making memories with her family of six children and her husband in Tennessee. On the piece of land that her family calls home, she spends time gathering inspiration for her ever-growing collection of paintings.
