Novi Lim lives and works out of North Carolina. Relying on virtues such as instinct and freedom, Novi channels her love of the natural world around her onto the canvas. She finds the creative process grounding and invigorating, something that she craves and identifies with.

Since the foundation of her process itself is quite intuitive, Novi is able to spend her time getting inspired by studying the subtle elements that nature has to offer all around us. Her masterful play of light and shadow is a beckoning for the viewer to dive deeper, explore layers and maybe even create a story about the movements that appear to have splashed across the canvas with grace and ease.
